Mansie Hough is a Media Manager in the Communications department. She works to develop and refine WRI's messaging across all its programs, platforms and geographies. In doing so, Mansie maintains relationships with members of the media, pitches and translates WRI's research for broad audiences, and evaluates the organization's reach and impact on its most pressing issues.

Prior to joining WRI, Mansie worked on public health communications in Edelman's DC office, acting as a media contact for journalists reporting on topics including preventive healthcare and infectious disease policy.

Mansie holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Creative Writing from Washington and Lee University. At W&L, Mansie also played varsity volleyball and studied abroad in Dingle, Ireland.

Mansie lives in DC with her cat, Buffy. In her free time Mansie enjoys playing volleyball, doing gymnastics, traveling and spending time outdoors.
